National League of Cities Selects Cleveland to Participate in Pilot Health Program

CLEVELAND – Mayor Frank G. Jackson is pleased to announce that on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, the National League of Cities selected Cleveland as one of seven cities across the US to “participate in the Collaborative on Health Disparities.” “We welcome this news from the National League of Cities as they join our efforts to provide opportunities for better health among our youth,” said Mayor Jackson. “We are fortunate to have the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, Sisters of Charity and Metro Health Hospitals as partners in the Healthy Cleveland Initiative.”
