Applications Being Accepted for Cleveland Municipal School District Board Appointments

CLEVELAND – Mayor Frank G. Jackson announced today that applications will be accepted

from now until June 7, 2013, for four (4) seats on the Cleveland Municipal School District
Board of Education. New four year terms for each of these four Board of Education seats begin
July 1, 2013. These seats can be filled by residents of the Cleveland Municipal School District,
including the areas of the School District outside of the City of Cleveland. Those areas include
Bratenahl, Linndale, Newburgh Heights and portions of Brook Park and Garfield Heights.
Interested parties can mail their applications to the Nominating Panel at 601 Lakeside
Avenue, Room 227, Cleveland, Ohio 44114, attention Monyka Price or drop off applications at
Cleveland City Hall, room 227. Applications must be turned in or post marked by close of
business Friday, June 7, 2013.
