Cuyahoga County Fair holds First Latino Celebration of Latino cultural and Music Festival

On Tuesday August 5th the first of the Latino nights kicked off with local dance groups Raices de Peru, Tepehuani Nelli, Mariachi Santa Cecilla, Perla de Caribe Dancers, Ritmo Y Raza and Julia de Burgos Dancers all celebrating with their cultural dances from Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico. It was a beautiful display of all the different cultures. Also preforming was Rebecca Sweet and Brittany Carbaugh with “Dance with Rebecca.com” who did a spectacular presentation of Salsa dancing with techniques that had everyone cheering at their performance. Cuyahoga County was proud to have all of these local groups from Northeast Ohio as part of this historic event.
On Thursday night a Latino Concert sponsored by Latino Media Network, La Mega, Vocero Latino, la Prensa, Collection Auto group and Erie Title. There were many people dancing and enjoying the music. Salsa, Merenque, Bachata and Latin jazz entertained the crowd. This was some of best local talent including Guitonsky, Alexis Adrain, Carlicia, Micka Nova, Bori Q, and Lucien Rose for the first time ever to be assembled all in one show. DJ Flaco Flash, with La mega served as the host of night and La Mega team Joined Flaco on stage to thank all of their supporters and listeners. All in attendants can’t wait to see what’s coming next year. Headliner Domenic Marte sang one of his greatest hits like “Vin Tu’ and first time ever some of our most popular local Latino groups Son Gitano, Justo Sabori, and Papo Ruiz all played on the same stage. This was a night of history for the Cuyahoga County Fair and a great night for all Latinos in northeast Ohio.
