CLEVELAND – Effective Monday April 1, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. (weather permitting), Perk Company, Inc. will begin construction activities on the above referenced project. The work zone will consist of the west side of West 9th Street from Front Avenue to West Superior Avenue. This closure will allow road repairs that include pavement grinding, asphalt pavement base repairs, asphalt placement, sidewalks, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant ramps, and curbs.
Two-way traffic will be maintained (one lane in each direction) along the east side of West 9th Street. Advance warning signs will be used to advise traffic of upcoming lane shifts. Pedestrian traffic and access to businesses will be maintained at all times. However, there may be brief periods of disruption as construction progresses.
Parking restrictions along West 9th Street will be implemented to facilitate the proposed work.
With favorable weather conditions, this project is scheduled to be completed by July 2013. Updates will be announced as work progresses.
We urge you to use caution when traveling within the construction zones. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this important public improvement project.
