The Hispanic population in Ohio is 395,000 Hispanics reside in Ohio. There are 199,000 Hispanic eligible voters in Ohio—the 19th largest Hispanic statewide eligible voter population nationally.
Half of Hispanics in Ohio are eligible to vote, ranking Ohio 16th nationwide in the share of the Hispanic population that is eligible to vote.
It’s time for Latinos to come together and their political strength. If you are Latino and have the right to vote but you choose not to vote, then you are the problem. You are giving your power to others who vote based on their interest. That is way you are hurting you and your family. You are creating problems for all Latinos and you not voting is a big letdown to all Latinos.
The right to vote is the most powerful civil asset.
There is no greater country in the world than the United States of America. What makes this a great country is that there two days when you become the most important and powerful person in their actual history. If you also believe this is the greatest country in the world then you need to show that you are worthy of living here by doing your part by voting. Think of those many who gave their life so that you may have the right to vote.
Learn about those who are running for office and exercise your right to vote. If you don’t like those who are running for office, then don’t vote for them. Vote only on the issues but noting is not an option. When you don’t vote, Latinos don’t vote, so why we care? Latino voter turn is low. As they were saying the Latino vote isn’t important. People in the political office or those who are running for office are always saying what is going to take to get Latinos to vote.
Well maybe if Latino who do vote and who know Latinos who are not voting call them out and tell them to do their part and vote.
This midterm election is going to be a true test for those who do not like what’s going on in our world. If you think that someone else is going to fix it for you and your family, then you are wrong. You are not doing your part by voting, it becomes a big problem for Latinos and many are paying the price for it.
The truth is both parties need to earn the Latino vote, but you must show them that you care. Right now, the Latino community is on the way of becoming the fastest growing group of voters. Some may future in their hands and others fear the Latinos potential political power. Yes, I said potential political power. The direction of this great country is going to be shape by those who vote and
Latinos are now the largest nonwhite racial ethnic group with the fastest-growing voting sector of the United States. There are 58 million Latinos in the country, and many of them are young voting citizens and with another 66,000 Latinos turning 18 (voting age) every month.
What will you be willing to do, to make the Latino community one of the most respected voting community in the United States of America? Well if you don’t, well here are some things you can do: call your family and friends on election day and tell them they need to vote. Tell them that our Latino community needs them to do their part if they want what’s best for all their family and this great country we call American. On Election Day use your power VOTE!!!!
