CLEVELAND – On Tuesday, March 29, weather permitting, working will commence on Phase 1 of the West Side Market Parking Lot Improvement Project beginning with the Hick’s Lot west of West 24th Street. Advance notice signs will be posted detailing which portions of the lot will be off limits. Access to all driveways will be maintained during the initial phase of the project.
The West Side Market Parking Lot Improvement Project will reconfigure and expand the parking lots behind the West Side Market to create 128 additional spaces. The improvements will incorporate over 40,000 sf of pervious pavers and new bio-filtration that will aid in reducing stormwater from flowing into the sewer system. The entire project is scheduled for completion by December 1, 2016.
