Cleveland FBI Seeks Information Concerning Bank Robber

Stephen D. Anthony, Special Agent in Charge of the Cleveland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for the Northern District of Ohio, is seeking information regarding an individual suspected in committing two bank robberies in the Northern District of Ohio.

On January 10, 2013, an unknown male—described as approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall, about 160 pounds, and wearing a full head mask depicting the image of an elderly white male—presented a note indicating a bank robbery to a teller at the First Merit Bank branch located at 9717 SR 14 in Streetsboro, Ohio.

On April 3, 2013, at approximately 9:42 a.m., an unknown male—described as approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall, about 160 pounds, and wearing a full head mask depicting the image of an elderly white male, a gray hooded-type sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and sunglasses—entered the Chase Bank branch located at 10414 Saint Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio.

It is suspected that the same individual is responsible for both bank robberies. Photographs from the April 3, 2013 robbery are at the conclusion of this press release.
